Ursula Huber

Ursula Huber was born in Murano in 1952, and she lives and works in Bolzano, Italy. She studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg and at the Glass Art Academy of Vienna. From the 1980-ies she has exhibited widely in Europe and in Japan. She is well known for her sculptures in different materials, including glass. The glass sculptures are in shapes of human heads, under the common name of Ego, and symbolize conflicts and tensions in contemporary society.
