Henrik Allert

Henrik Allert was born 1937 in Skövde, Sweden, where he also resides. He studied at the School of Crafts in Gothenburg 1962 - 64 .

Henrik Allert has been exhibiting regularly since 1971 at various places in Sweden, i.e. the Waldemarsudde museum, Örebro museum, Höganäs museum, Rackstad museum; in Tokyo at the Museum of Modern Art; in Paris at the Centre Culturel Suèdois; and in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Henrik Allert is represented, among other places, at The National Museum i Stockholm, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg, The Rackstad Museum, the Museum of Art and Craft in Oslo, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo.

Henrik Allert is represented in the private collection of the Royal families of Sweden and of Holland, the Francois Mitterand collection in Paris, the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona.

Henrik Allert has made ceramic works for public places,  among others, in Östra sjukhuset, Göteborg; the Observatory, Saltsjöbaden; St Johannes´ Church in Skövde; the cathedral of Skara; Volvo factory in Skövde; the university of Örebro; the School of Economics in Gothenburg. Henrik Allert was born 1937 in Skövde, Sweden, where he also resides. He studied at the School of Crafts in Gothenburg 1962 - 64 .
