Gerd Allert

 

Gerd Allert (1940 – 2010) was born in Gothenburg. She lived and worked in Skövde. She studied textile at the School of Crafts in Gothenburg 1960 - 64.

Gerd Allert has been exhibiting regularly since 1980 at various places in Sweden, i.e. the Röhsska museum in Gothenburg, Borås Art Museum, Skara county museum, Örebro art museum, Skövde art museum, Höganäs museum, the Waldemarsudde museum.

Gerd Allert is represented at Skövde museum, Motala museum, Rackstad museum.

Gerd Allert has perfomed textile works for public places, among others, in the hospital of Sövde, the city halls of Borås and Lidköping, the hospital of Örebro, Volvo in Skövde, St Katarina church in Nyköping, Katarina church in Stockholm, St Helena church in Skövde.
