Eva Englund

Eva Englund as born in 1937 and died in 1998. She was trained at the School od Art and design in Stockholm. She is best known for the very advanced peices in graal that she made at Orrefors, particularly the vases and bowls with faces in glowing colors. She also designed the popular table glasses ”Maja” and ”Linnea” with painted decor. In Pukeberg she made a series of pieces called ”Malakit” in a light green color.


Eva Englund exhibited widely in Sweden and e.g. in Japan, and she is represented at many museums, including the National Museum in Stockholm, Röhsska in Gothenburg and the Swedish Glass museum in Växjö.
